Bike people: Shimano Acera issues...

I have Shimano Acera front derailleurs and i cant seem to find where to adjust the range of the front derailleur when shifting gears. I have 3 front rings (small, med, large) and when i am on the med ring and shift to either the small of large one, my front derailleur doesn't move enough in either direction to shift the gears.
Is this adjusted on the front derailleur itself or something on the click shifter? I have tried adjusting something where the cable meets the shifter but i;ve had no luck...

I have shimano deore front derailer. On it, it has 2 screws. The inner one is what sort of guides the movement. If the problem is getting it to shift to the biggest ring, then unscrew it slightly until you can shift up with ease. And the opposite if you can't get it to the smallest ring. If you run out of adjustability, you then need to add more tension to the cable.

oh, i forgot to add. For the smallest ring you need to move out to the second screw. That becomes the guide on lower gears. Hope that helps.

just don't back that screw out too far- if the stop is set too low, you'll end up accidently dumping your chain while you're riding and that's a huge pain in the ass.

i've adjusted those screws in so many different combinations and nothing seems to be working. I have it set at the 'sweetest' spot so far but its still not working out.

no offense, but it IS Acera... FD's are a pain in the ass to begin with, but a so-so derailleur is even harder to deal with at times.
