Can't afford to get your skis tuned in a shop? Do you not own a car or feel like riding the bus to skirack with your skis? I live on campus and will wax and sharpen your skis for 10 bucks (7 for either just wax or edge tune) Give me (jack) a call at 315 256 5275 to set up an appointment.
Way to get moving on your own business. I tune skis at my highschool, mostly for the race team who think they need a tune before and after every race, even though NH public highschool racing is a massive joke. Makes a dollar.
Pretty cool idea. Maybe make a video of the tune up: hot wax, cool over night, scrape, brush, sharpen edges. Just so customers can see that its legit and maybe see the quality of the tune. Idk just a thought. Good way to make some money.
also notice how I offer ski DEtuning. I wont force you to wax your skis curchin, thats your own call, but over the years I've gotten pretty good at detuning under the boot and sharpening the tips up good.
