Aight...got like 3 days to decide, hah. I've been to Whistler twice...love it there. The price is great (last year I can go for this deal..) and it's the most convenient thing ever. Utah mid winter, well...thats pretty much epic. Never been there. Considerably more money than going to Whistler but def a better chance of getting snow in Utah during Jan/Feb than Whistler during the first week of december.
Basically just asking for some advice..I knw either place I go I'll be stoked. Don't really care about nightlife, just the skiing. I'm 16 and going with my dad so that pretty much eliminates that whole scene anyways. Utah is a more do it yourself trip, Whistler is pretty planned out/no surprises. Gimme your thoughts NS.

Whistler might barely have a base in early dec. Go to Utah.

if you go to utah you wont want to leave, until the shitty beer and horrible nightlife, and shitty mormons, and shitty other things people complain about

Early December can be really hit or miss anywhere. While you are certainly not guaranteed to hit it just right mid-winter UT, you have at least as good a chance as anywhere. They also say in El Nino Years (which 09/10 is) the Northern part of N. Ameirca gets less snow and the southern part gets more.

Definitely Utah. We barely have any snow in the first week of December, and a majority of it is man made. Where I ski could differ from Whistler, but no doubt Utah is the way to go.
