People watching you ski in the summer

So today, i got home and decided to ski. My neighbors across the street were out on their deck, and started watching me. Like they had binoculars and everything. Anyone else got any weird stories?

so far this summer the mail man has driven up to my house like 5 times to deliver a package while i'm jibbin it up and like the first time he asked what i was doin and stuff but now he just is used to it and says whats up ha

Happened today: i was trying out a new little rail we made and my other ski buddies came over, but a buch of chicks came with them, and i like em so it was all good, but thats not the only crowd, my neighbor came home and looked at us for a few minutes, then said "and i thought i did dumb stuff when i was a kid" we just laughed, he doesn't know whats up.

I got kicked out of a handrail once by city workers who did not understand what I wanted to do. found me on the stairs setting up the run up with my skis and they asked what I was doing. I explained and they told me to go ski at a mountain, I told them mountains dont have handrails like this.. so they told me to set up a ladder in my backyard and ski down that. I loled so hard at them.

yesterday i was working on my new, bigger and better drop-in and my neighbour saw me work on it and asked if i was going to build another set-up (i allready had a small 6ft setup )
i explained what i was building etc...

long story short: he helped me constructing it; he pointed out possible flaws and how i could make it better, stronger etc.

and he offered me 3 free logs, he even helped cutting the trees down and scraping it flat....

^^sweet neighbour i got, fosho!

at least my neighbors weren't home. They all sit by their windows and just silently watch me sometimes. It's kinda odd at times. They don't understand.

our setup is at my friends house. the first time we seshed it there was an old guy on a ladder repairing his neighbors roof. when we started hitting it he just stopped and ogled us for a while

only problem is you can't read "newschoolers.com"  Hmmmm this is a dilemma...Maybe combine the NS logo with ski runner?

No specific story, but any time you ski in Rocky Mountain National Park during the late spring/summer you will ALWAYS get some retard asking you while on your way down the mountain "You can still ski??"

"No fuckhead, I just hiked 10 miles roundtrip with 30 lbs on my back for the bloody hell of it."

we always go down to culver's/subway to get food mid session with tall tees/jerseys/ and sometimes ski boots and we always get the weirdest looks. hahah cause we always go with like the same 4 or 5 people and we always have tall tees on and its always the same workers

also i live in a pretty small town in Wisconsin where not a lot of people ski, so you can see how everyone would be even more confused
