People watching you ski in the summer

So today, i got home and decided to ski. My neighbors across the street were out on their deck, and started watching me. Like they had binoculars and everything. Anyone else got any weird stories?

a dumbass old guy came up to me and my friends if we knew there wasn't any snow in my backyard and then proceeded to tell us that he just skied down hills on rainy days in the summer.

we were up at the 4th of july bowl last weekend in breck, and this 4 wheelers like stopped and just stared and watched us for like 45 minutes, and more and more of their freinds started catching up and watching us as well. they coouldnt belive how the rails got up there.

i was making a drop in with my friend and his neighbor came over (nothing against him hes awesome) and there was a flat part before the jump and he said "i think you're gonna stop right there"................he was right.

my neighbors who live above me always watch me from their deck. and my thing is right by a slow gravel road. often times the cars just stop for a bit. But its mainly the same people over and over so they just keep driving now

Ya I live on a fast busy street but when I am skiing there are cars which will sometimes pull over to the side of the road in front of my setup and just watch me ski. Not only is it inconvenient for the other cars who want to race down the road but its  very creepy.

i havent had anything like this happen on the summer set up, but we did set up a rail in my friends front yard durring the winter and one time when we were hitting it up a couple came by on horses walked up his driveway and just stood there watching us then they left

me and my friend set up this dirty urban last winter in a semi busy place about 10 ppl walked by and it didnt even phase them i thought that was wierd

Telling my friends german parents about how we just finished sliding a rail in may, and they thought I was nuts bcoz it was may. I thought it was kind of nuts bcoz we were having a campfire in may. The next day it snowed. And I went to the mountains.

yea i just got back from my friends summer setup and my two friends who are the complete opposite of skiers were watching us sesh the whole time.

at first it was a little awkward, but it was dope to have extra people stoked for me when i landed shit.

Word. There are a few little boys that live around me that are like 4-6 and whenever my friends and I are out seshin' whether it is winter or summer they come over to my yard and don't say anything but watch. Same thing when we jump on the trampoline... sometimes they stare through the bushes or throw tennis balls at us. It's weird.

I took my sterio system and put it next to my set up and a couple nieghbors came out and yelled at me (something about thier kids learning new words) and yea

when my buddy and I were hitting our summer setup in his front yard, every single person who passed slowed down and stared and then laughed when they realized what we were doing.
the best is when the asian tourists walk by and point and laugh and ask you what the hell your doing in broken english.

ya people just stop and watch or they keep driving by. and or laugh

this one lady was walking her dog and she walked all around my block and through the back of my house where theres an alley and she went through and walked really slow.

also the mayor of my town drives by and watches us. we stole the pvc from a road and it seems like hes trying to see where we got it from and stuff idk its weird

Lol I didn't think that this happened to other people. I have a setup in my backyard and these 8 year olds are always at the chain link fence watching me. Like, everytime I land and shit they are like "Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh" cuz they think its so cool. There is like four 8 year olds watchin me every day and I just wanna punt them.

i really dont like when you have a non skier audience. My parents dont even know what a rail is....

My neighbors were positively convinced I was high on meth or something when I was hitting my setup. Then they called the cops. The cops came by and thought it was really funny, and got mad at my neighbors for wasting their time.

I showed a rail I built to this worker guy at home depot and he was like "Ohhhh, now I know what our building, a snow luge(sp?). the resemblance between the rail and snow luge was absolutely nothing
