what does (x^2)(y^2)+xy=1 simplify into?

first time through i got 1/x figured that was wrong and the i got 1/2x^2

How are you magically getting rid of the y's? Are you trying to differentiate?

if u're trying to differentiate, it would be

dy/dx = [2xy²+y] / - [2x²y+x]

oops should have been more thorough...

i was solving for y

i first divided 1by X^2 then then by X giving me 1/X^3=Y^2+Y

then i got lost

for integrals there's also a wolfram integrator, just google it....
