That is so awesome.  That would have been a dream of mine as a kid.  Would definitely be a pain to fix utilities like plumbing in there since you can't just cut in through drywall and then replace it.

"Last month, we featured a post about James May, a toy fanatic (and presenter of the television show James May’s Toy Stories), that built a house using LEGO bricks. The house was complete, but unfortunately, it’s now demolished after a deal to sell it didn’t quite go well.

Because the home didn’t have planning permission on its site, the builder was hoping to find a buyer to transport the house elsewhere. LEGOland theme park showed interest, but the high cost of transportation didn’t make seem like a good deal. The 3.3 million LEGO bricks used to build the home will be donated to charity once the home is teared down."

psh MENSA is nothing you only need a 132 on the SBIS, I got a 151. I'm in MENSA, I'm sure there's thousands of MENSA worthy people on this site. The fact that you cite MENSA, though, probably means you're not in it.


Anyway, didn't a guy build a lego house planning on selling it but didn't even come close to getting 1 offer? where did i see that?

I think that was the first 'fully' functional house made with LEGO.

Ohh and he is really smart - I just mentioned MENSA because it is recognized as 'the group for smart people'. i have an IQ of 142 but i'm not in MENSA by choice.

Top Gear is possibly the greatest show ever.  Clarkson, May and Hammond are possibly the greatest hosts ever.  All around incredible.  I want to know what kind of budget they have.

funny thing about clarkson and budgets = He doesn't give a shit.

He was hired to test this company's new car, and they told him they didn't have that big of a budget, he said ok. The car was like a cheap family car.

But, he had to test it didn't he? so he tested the car in london, but he needed to test if it ran the same on the other side of the world, so he got the car flown to like Australia, and then further on to test in a city so he flew it to China.. then to Italy for the countryside or something.

Clarkson knows whats up.
