yeah it sucks dick... especially since i just got my wisdom teeth out too... spent the weekend at the state fair and over half the people i was with came back sick and two of them have confirmed h1n1. Clinic says that i got all the symptoms as well, but that my body will just fight it off. Sucks way bad. and when ever i cough or sneeze it kills my teeth (or lack of teeth) these past few days have been hell and i'm supposed to stay isolated for another like 3-4 days or something. pretty not fun...

So yeah be careful, don't get it. its not enjoyable...

yeah man, its the same thing, swine flu is a false name though cuz there is no way you can get it from pigs or pork, it just shares some same dna as influenza found in pigs. i think.

just don't get the vaccine. the CDC (center for disease control) has been giving out all sorts of warnings to doctors about the side effects of it.  they even have warned to watch out for side effects of "paralysis and death".  I think I'll fight off my flues naturally thank you.

that sucks you got it though. my mom got it, got accupuncture and took a lot of vitamin C, wellness, and other alternative stuff it went away incredibly fast.  however, she passed it to me but I fought it off and never fully got it, again, thanks to alternative medicine.

it's nothing more than an abnormally contagious flu.  less people have died worldwide from it than die annually in the US alone.

I had it a couple of weeks ago. It really sucks ass. I hadn't had a feaver for years and there I was having to sleep on a beach towel so I could switch it out with a dry one next time I woke up.

Basically I felt like I had a cold for a couple of days then I had a week off work which was spend in bed and the weekend when I finally started getting about more. the next week at work I just felt mad tired. Then I went skiing the next week haha but I got so tired doing that!

I have asthma aswell which made it worse because it antagonises it.

So wash your hands well guys! It's not much fun

If you wash your hands more than you normally would, it actually makes the virus stronger if you get it and then pass it on to some one else their flu will be slightly worse than yours. So people shouldn't wash their hands more than normal just go on with your life and just don't think about it and you probably won't get it.

I got swine flu, and I went mountain biking for 6 hours in big bear, and then 2 days later I was fine.  Swine flu aint shit.  It was confirmed by my doctor too so it really was swine flu.

Don't listen to all the hype about teh swine flu'z.

They are hyping this swine flu "outbreak"  to get you to forget about the real problems.  Problems like why is the dollar failing on an international scale and all our government continues to do is print and spend more imaginary money?

That might actually be the dumbest thing I have ever read.

Washing your hands is the most basic and most effective way to prevent passing/getting diseases, and there shouldn't be any foolish reasoning beyond those simple facts.

if you really delve into the people behind the vaccine and who's profiting from it, the side effects vs. benefits of the vaccine and the over-hyping by the media of the disease, and the contemplations by multiple governments to have mandatory vaccinations, it really is a conspiracy so to speak.

oh dont get me wrong, vaccines in general are way overhyped. and i by no means plan on getting the vaccine, my doctor told me not to bother. i agree, swine flu really isnt any worse than the normal flu at this point. most of the kids that have died have had other problems that no doubt contributed to the deaths, and i wouldnt be suprised if it was the same deal for adults.

however i do get sick of him acting like everything is some sort of evil conspiracy about the government and business trying to take over the world.

I don't come into NSG much anymore but I haven't seen any conspiracy posts by him.  But good for him for having some free thought.  Sorry but if that's what you're saying, I agree with him.  Not everything is an evil conspiracy but too many things are controlled for the purposes of the elite's agenda which I will not delve into here.  That's for another thread for me to get flamed on because I don't blindly follow the views of my United Sheeple of America. 

btw, I'm not talking about you when I reffer to that, I like your posts generally.  you just need to realize that the government isn't always looking out for our best interests.  in fact, when it seems like they are, there's usually an ulterior motive behind it.

oh no i agree the govt isnt always looking out for the best for us. and i agree that for most people the vaccine isnt worth it. swine flu is ridiculously overhyped, just like sars, bird flu, anthrax, and whatever disease is coming next year.

that being said, i also dont think that this is some conspiracy to paralyze the nation with the swine flu vaccine. big pharma wants to make a shitload of money of a vaccine that isnt really necessary... what else is new?
