beatport.com often has stems you're able to buy... those are about the best i've been able to find. they're good enough for legitimate remixes and whatnot, though i'm not sure of the specifics regarding quality.

Brother Ali made some great points but I'll be honest, this video won't change a thing for me. I'm still going to download my music and I probably won't buy any CDs. I think I've bought two CDs in the past 2 years?

The reason for this is I'm not a 'true' fan or someone for whom music is a major part of my life. I'm not a musically orientated person. At all. If I didn't download the music then I probably wouldn't ever listen to it other then on the radio. I don't care if I have a massive CD collection of a absurd amount of songs on my itunes. It's just not important to me. And because I don't care if I supported an artist or not, I download what I listen to. If the music industry were to crash my life would go on as is. Plus I can't afford to buy the music and don't care to either.
