Yo NS so i am considering picking up a panasonic dvx100a, and i was reading up on the lowest operating temp, which is 32 degrees F. I live in montana and its waaay colder than that. Will the camera work below this temp? Is there any other cameras that are built for low temp situations? Help me out...

You'll be fine, i've used my HVX, probably have similar operating temps, in -50. The colder it is, the shorter the battery life that's all really.

yes it will work, pretty much all cameras say the lowest operating temp is 32. Just one thing to remember is that if you bring it inside make sure you wait for all the condensation to go away before you bring it back out.

Yeah it'll be fine just watchout for condensation and your batterylife will drop. Idk about panasonics but ive had the problem of when filming action the person in the screen almost looks like a commet(streaks) on the lcd but it turns out fine once imported
