also think about this: 100 years ago what technology did we have? like nothing no computers, planes, xbox! 10 years ago we got dial-up internet, cellphones etc.. past couples of years we've got iphones(who ever imagined touch screens like the iphones 20 years ago) ...and wireless internet. now imagine in like another 100 years then like 1000 years what is yet to have been invented. we could be living in space and shit by then! finding life elsewhere.
