I prefer Keystone as a whole - just the vibe across the whole mountain.... the parks are sick, A51 can be intimidating though...... but the features are dope and change every season (always seems to be some new crazy ass features added at both Breck and Keystone aiming to feature in the next seasons movies...), and it's worth being around just to see some ripper hit something massive...
Freeway Kicker line is freakin massive.... but the bottom of peak 8 is enough to make me cry at times when it's busy.....
On a side note - if you want a fun no pressure day just lapping fun features and rails - A Basin is sick, and way quieter.
Much love to all of Summit Co though.... not many places in the world you have so many choices withing 30 minutes of each other.....
Rice and Peas
I was at both last April and I enjoyed Breck's better. Keystone's stuff was not that well maintained when I was there, the medium tables were brutal and there was a warren miller shoot going on on the big line which was pretty intimidating.
Breck on the other hand, was perfectly groomed, the freeway lane had the most unreal jumps ever and I just enjoyed the flow more.
They are both awesome parks though, so definitely check them both out and decide for yourself.
Freeway Kicker line is incredible.... so big... and gets progressively bigger - first hit is whippy... the other thing about Freeway is how big it looks when you drive back to breck from Keystone over the pass... especially as the sun goes down... the kickers are monsterous...
Bring on the season...!!
stop complaining about even being able to ski at these places.
