Shotgun rail ruined my life

So yesterday and today I spent over 6 hours creating a pretty sick PVC shotgun rail at my friends house.  We were going to use it at my house on my summer set up so I tried to load  it into my dads car it looked like the rail was just barely going to make it in.  It went from the back of the car to near the windshield.  So as I try to close the trunk the the door barely hits the rail and sends it into the windshield making a huge crack across the windshield. My dad was super pissed and im in so much trouble.  I owe him like 250 dollars that was supposed to be ski money and Im grounded for a while.  To top it all off my first day of school is tomorrow.  FML

stop being a bitch. a week before school was out when I was 16 I got in a car accident. I had to get a job and I made 1500 dollars in the first three (summer) months but got to keep none of it. Now I have a kick ass job and no debt.

Yes. it sucks you got in an accident.

stop complaining and do something about it. I'm sure if you act responsibly, your parents will be much more helpful. Thats the reason I didn't get grounded after my accident.

Ha, that fuckin sucks man. Did the same thing a few years back, had to pay for it too. I did it in the Home Depot Parking lot though with a few 2x4s that went through, so lame...

I remember one time my buddy loaded a bunch of wood for his dad in the back of his car for some house renovations. Than my buddy had to go play a show so he put his bass and amp on top of the wood. About 5 minutes lkater he slams on the brakes and the amp crashed through the back windshield. Not only did his windshield vbreak but so did the amp.

The insurance company does not know the cause of the damage.  All you have to do is say it was an act of vandalism and pay like a $100 deductible.

Yeah this is just a brilliant idea. Being out 250 bucks is pretty bad, why not commit insurance fraud instead and expose yourself to thousands of dollars in fines, tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees, and potential jail time?

should have said that you were driving and saw a deer and smashed the brakes and something flew up and hit the inside of the window... like a ski helmet or something

it depends on the state and if you have comprehensive insurance i moved from MA where insurance covers it to VT where is doesn't have to cover it and then spent 600 on front and back windshields
