Im looking at last years editions of these skis. Im from Massachusetts and ski primarily park. I want a ski that can do alright in powder(on those rare occasions) but its not that big of a priority. Which ski will be better for all around park? Rails, jumps or, any other feature. Also I heard the dumonts had durability issues so I am curious to hear about some first hand experiences that people had with the ski.
Didn't the 2009 ones have that too, and failed miserably?
Stay away from Salomon, and do yourself a favor, until they redeem themselves. I say Volkl. BUT you could also consider the Chronics, they seem to fit your desire for a semi stiff ski. Can handle MA pow fine, and are great on rails and jumps.
Would last years anthems work? I sort of want to try a more flexy ski but im not sure. And the anthems are fatter and I feel I would have more trouble doing switchups and spins out of rails.
anthems are pretty flexy but stable, and ski just like a jibby park ski, theyre no different, infact the extra width helps with landings and float and the weight really doesnt make any difference to how they ski compared to say the invader
