New nordica park boot

Does anyone have any info on the new nordica park boot?? thier site is saying it will be dropped in 22 days.

dude i dont know very much about them at all all i know is im getting a pair in october i will be one of the first kids in north america to get a pair i was wondering if you have seen pics and if u could shoot me the link cause my rep wont tell me wat they look like but im getting a pair in october so if u havent seen pics i will shoot you some in october and also in 9 days you can see a preview on www.nordica.com

Nordica rep just came by my shop and brought them to show me cause im the only ski sales guy under like 40 ha, they're pretty sick

i really dont think ur gunna be one of the first in north america, and u havent even seen pics of it yet? i can order a pair right now if i want, i just dont want to because i havent tried it on or know much about it yet. ill shoot u some pics

I have tried them on so i guess i win?  Its a nice boot, but not for me.  Its HUGE.  I measure a 28 shell, i wear 27s.  I would have taken this in a 26.5, even then it was a little too loose.  If it fits, go for it.

i didnt realize there was a competition, but anyways, really it fits that big? shit, i measure a 28 shell also, and take a 27.5 in most boots, as far as tecnica runs, i would take a 26.5. Now how does it fit last wise? their blower from last year is a 98mm the jah love this year is a 98mm, the hot rod 105 i think is a 100mm, im curious to see where they put the ace of spades boot at.

100ish.  I have fulltilts and they fit perfectly.  Ace of spades is definitely wider, probably 101

Yeah it's only available for shop employees/pros this year. 500 pairs. Last is 100mm I am pretty sure. Flex index for this year is 130. Next year they will have it in a 100 and 120, maybe a 110, I forget. It does fit a little big. Too bad they are not making a 25 shell this year, as that would be the size I need.

And to the kid who said "omg omg omg omg I'm the first one getting a pair in October!!" they aren't shipping until December.

shit its a 130?! the nordica rep for our shop is coming in saturday, im gunna talk to him about it. 130 flex sounds crazy to me, because i was putting on the hot rod 105 yesterday, and that felt super stiff. I hope the rep has a pair i can try on. But yeah when went to look to order a pair the smallest size was a 26 i think.

Yeah, it's not as bad as it seems. I mean the high end Tecnica agent is a 130 flex, SPK Pro is 110 and Il Moro can go up to 135. I see you're from Jersey, we probably have the same rep.

I got to try it on and its definitely a stiffer feeling freestyle boot. They are definitely focusing on the all mountain performance with this boot, its not SPK soft.

its a 100-130 progressive to my understanding... basically its a 100 around the top of the flex but as you get more into it it stiffens up to a 130

tried it on the other day at willis!
fits me like a dream cant wait to get mine....
the progressive flex has to do with a channel in the back of the boot (inside obviously) so that the farther down you flex the boot the stiffer it get its really cool how they did it.  i felt it as soon as i flexed it the first time
oh and the clip on the back for your pants is a GREAT idea!
the middle buckle pulls your heel back to the back of the boot and the cable that runs heel to heel it amazing! most comfortable boot ive ever put on

word man, im looking into a new boot for this year, i got spk from our salomon rep a couple years back for dirt cheap, but i cant stand it, so ive been trying on boots like crazy, and i do have a narrower foot, so i tried on the dragon 110 from tecnica, pretty much the same as the agent 110 with a cork foot board and not the shock one the agent has. Fits nice, but im not sure if i want that stiff of a boot for park.

It was just too high volume for me.  Even on a shell that was a size too small, i had to buckle em all the way over to even come close to feeling like it was tight.

so how many companies are stating with only 4 buckle overlap setups now?  It seems dalbello and FT have started an industry trend, as first rossi and now nordica have 3 buckle or cable designs.  saloman will obviously stick with the 2 buckle, but which other companies will convert enentually?  Predictions?

so i tried on the boot today size 26.5, fits super big, i would advise sizing down. But when i put it on i got a terrible pressure point, like the rivet for the middle boot buckle was like pushing hard against the outside of my foot. My co-worker put it on and felt the same thing. The middle buckle does fit really nice tho, liner was pretty sweet, had some special foam around the foot in the liner, i felt like it really wrapped well around my calf tho. Flex system was pretty interesting, it gets softer as u flex into it, if u were to take the liner out, and push on the back of the boot in the middle of the shell, there were two plastic pieces that push together giving it that softer flex. Pissed it doesnt have the upper cuff adjustment tho, the rep said in the next few years, none of the nordica boots are goiing to have it. Overall, fit well, besides that super pain i was getting.

Having tried it on I'm pretty stoked on the new boot. Its a perfect fit for people with a narrow heel and a wider forefoot. Coming from Sparks I'm happy with the superior heel hold without the pressure on the top of the foot/front of the ankle that I got from the beast shell. Only change I will make to mine is putting the old nordica booster strap on in place of the current powerstrap

yeah, that sucks nordica is no longer using the booster strap. apparently the guy who invented the booster strap wants some serious scrilla for it. But did u feel any pressure on the outside of ur foot near where the rivet from the middle buckle was? Myself and my co-worker included both did, and it was the weirdest thing, I do love the narrow heel pocket, and i have somewhat of a wider forefoot, so that fit well.

tried it on again today and didn't have any issues with pressure points. I had heard the same thing about the dough for the booster... sucks but the good news is I have at least 1 set at my disposal

so sad how its not for consumer this year... nordica boots are the only boots that fit my feet... so i was so pumped to see nordica with park boots but i can't get them.....
but i read somewhere that the smallest they make is size 24 that true?? cause from this tread it seems 26 is the smallest

the smallest it is being made this year is a 26.5, it is currently only being produced in 26.5, 27.5, and 28.5 but I'm assuming it will be made in a full size run for next season
