they're kind of flat ya know?  the colors don't really stand out, they aren't vibrant, just kind of meh.  Try to play with the saturation in photoshop or something; if you look at pictures in magazines, etc, you'll notice that they are more exciting to look at, the strong colors really help with this. 
to your defense, the lighting didn't look all that great in some of them, which is why the colors aren't as good as they could be.
also, you probably already know this, but a flash would definitely be helpful.

with that said, they were framed pretty well--i especially like the first one--and I liked how there was some out of focus foreground stuff in some of them, definitely gave them some good depth.

Yeah these have not been edited at all so that would be the reasoning for the more dull colours. And a flash is on my "to buy when I get money" list.

I'm just going to be lazy, so what he said^^

but as a rider wouldn't a flash going off in your face while you're competing in a race piss you off?

Most of the time they don't even realize it's going off. Whenever I ask a rider if they noticed it they go "what flash?"

its just things you can do with photoshop. it doesnt look bad in my opinion.

I REALLY enjoy the first one. Very nice.  Also, good use of the rule of thirds in general. You also seem to have really good timing. Just work on your lighting and try to mix it up as far as angles and creativity go. I am a fan of your work though for sure.

all kinda the same angle

i don't really follow biking though so i don't know if you can possibly get any other angle

change up the angle once in a while, and wow that photoshopping really made a difference

oh of course. i over did it to show what photoshop can do to his photos. if i just tweaked them only slightly, only pros would notice the subtle differences. the first one i did i over saturated the landscape, did a high pass and copied the rider onto a new layer to tweak just him. that one isnt as over adjusted as the second. but as far as looking better.. i think the PS does (even if no one likes the vignetting)
