corn tastes better and as you said compliments the other flavors bettter
but flour is real smooth and has a nicer texture

im going to say

legit flour ones... the kind you can't buy at fry's or walmart... they are also 4 times less healthy because they are full of lard.

there is only three ways known to opbtain these.
-go to mexico
-find the sketchy tortilleria in your hood, if you live close enough to the border
-make them your self

I eat them for lunch every day though, these things are THE shit. When we run out I become very displeased.

I like corn, but it's hard to find corn tortillas where I live for some reason. Flour tortillas hold together better though, so if I'm packing a lunch I'll use those, or put a corny inside a flour!

depends on what i'm tryna eat. for some nice big, stuffed burritos, i'll go with flour. it's more versatile for your eating enjoyment due to the softness. for a small taco, corn is the only way to go. the flavor is superior, and due to the smallness of the taco in comparison to the burrito, the small corn tortillas are perfect. for a quesadilla i'm going to have to go with flour. drop that cheese in there, and put that sonofabitch on stove/grill for a bit so that it gets that nice toast and crunch to it. that's when the quesadilla is in prime eating condition.

my town is i believe 60% mexican. we have these taco trucks posted up everywhere that make the bombest food. as you can see, i'm fucking serious about my mexican food.

Flour for the burritos, corn for soft tacos. For the tacos, the tortillas need to be slathered in a bit of oil, and very slightly crispy around the edges.

i just realized i have wheat tortillas in the fridge.

i tried making something with them and it tasted kinda blehh... which is weird, because I prefer wheatbread to whitebread most of the time.

either way. i'm stickin to my corn and sometimes flour from now on.

So do you guys have soft corn tacos? Or are you all talking about the crispy corn ones vs. the soft flour ones?

If that's the case, tacos are best with the crispy corn ones, and burritos and quesadillas are best with the soft flour ones. So depending on the dish different types of tortillas are used.

Usually I prefer flour tortillas. Been awhile since I have had corn to be honest though. You have to know where to go for good Mexican. A small "fast food" Mexican place has the most heavenly food in CA's Central Valley. It claims it was voted best in the Valley too. Fucking good food. I would always get it after work. The tortillas are noticeably better than most other places. Place is in a shitty ass strip mall along the road here in Fresno but it is fucking amazing food.
