Recommend me some ski boots

Ok im wanting a peformance boot that fits properly and holds my foot in so i can ski big mtn stuff properly. I currently have spks.

I have a medium to wide toe box, but a pretty skinny heel. I tried on some nordica supercharger enforcers and they were pretty good. Boot fitter said the nordicas are pretty good for this type of foot. Opinions?

What other boots have a wider toe box, skinny heel while still being about 98mm? Although my foots not super narrow i was told 98mm would be better fit for agressive skiing. Looking for about a 110 flex i think.

So your telling someone who already has spks and wants new boots since spks give you no support doing real skiing and suck outside of the park to buy more spks for big mtn type skiing? Right....

I don't know enough to advise you other than to not listen to idiots on NS as they obviously don't know what there talking about.

i rock il moros for everything and i love them i would also reccomend the full tilt first chair or seth morrison boot if you want something hardcore

actually i was talking with a sales guy in vt. about the spk and he says alot of people are buying them for normal use in pow and trails because the actual stance of the boot is more upright, unlike other boots that make you do a knee bending/ leaning forward stance.

without seeing your foot, i cant really recommend something, but...

look into atomic. they normally have a wider toebox than most boots, and something on their narrower last (I think its the nuke this year, or the High Rolla last year) might work for you. Like I said, I'm just going on what you said, its not an end all be all, just a take a gander at, type of thing

you really have to try boots on but from your specifications i would say spk pro model is 110 flex and the solomon shogun is the freeride boot with 100 flex and then il moros but i dont know the flex

your supposed to lean forward when you ski....


i recomend the nordica supercharger spark, theyre a 4 buckle, 90 flex boot with some park oriented extras. like padded footboard, softer liners etc. they ski really well and have plenty of support i added a rivet to mine to bump the flex up to somewhere around 100 and i really like them.

YEAH get what fits but here are some 98mm boots off the top of my head.

Salomon Falcon, Salomon Gun, Salomon Ghost, Salomon Shogun

atomic Nuke 100, 120, 130 and Atomic High Rolla, Atomic CS

Dalbello Kryptons all have the same shell look into Pro, Cross, Il Moro, and Rampage.

Nordica supercharger series.....

Id steer clear of Head raptors as they have a cuff for a Herculian calf muscle ie; Fkkn Massive..

Rossi make some 98mm boots but I am always let down by the quality of materials.

Full Tilts are all 98mm, similar to Dalbello but with a lower instep and thinner shell (lighter), but this means they arent quite as good IMO when you lay them up on edge.

SPKs are pretty good in fresh pow pow, but in crud/crust they really arent the best.

unless you go for the Seth's or the plain black ones(cant remember name) they both have the #10 tongue, and the Seth's look plain mental, but if your not into that, go for the plain ones. If Seth rides them, then I count that as a good call on it being a damn good big mountain boot
