Creative ways to ask girls to Homecoming/Winter formal?

theres this thing a guy at my school did, but it only worked because she was running for school something or other.  he ran against her, and after her speech he went up and pulled out a bunch of roses and asked her.

she said yes

put a note inside the disco ball that asks.

Give her said disco ball with the intention of, you can only keep it if you smash it. done.


go to her house while she's away. Inflate 100's of balloons, a few of which have notes in them that say Homecoming? -(your name here). Place them all inside her room Leave a needle or scisors or a frickin ice axe by the door to her room.

She'll get the message and start popping away, and eventually she'll find one with a note in it


Make sure the baloons are all red or pink





Or... custom m&m's. Lots and lots of custom m&m's. My friend did that, not only did he get a yes, he got half the m&m's back because she got sick of them.

i left a shirt that said,
Wash to find out who wants to go to HOMECOMING WITH you
then i left a bunch of names and mine and the words^ homecoming and with in perment marker and the rest with washable.

she washed it then ended saying home coming with my name. then had flowers the next day.

shit you guys put too much effort into this, far more than i would put into even asking a girl to marry me.

All the shit you'll get on here is gimmicky, stupid, and 3/4 of the girls i know would only say yes to them because they tried so hard, that it was almost pathetic. The other 1/4 would flat out refuse to go.

Here's the best, stress free way to do it

plant your feet, look her square in the eyes, and say "Hey! Would you like to go to ___________ with me? I think it would be a lot of fun!"

She says yes, congratulations, you have a date. If she says no, congratulations, you just got turned down in a friendly way, and you don't have to go collect a ton of new balloons, bake a new cake, get that tattoo removed, or reorganize the magnificent song and dance you created just for her... and you spared yourself the embarrassment.

get some rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide at local drug store
spell out Homecoming or HC? on her drive way/street in this stuff, then light it on fire
variation- use those 5 cent candles to do this at like 2 am

in general its best to just be a man and ask if she wants to be inappropriately rubbed against in a dark room
