CENTER MOUNT?

when you get a ski center mounted (like perfect ski center) it seems to me that there would be less tip than tail because when they mount skis they work with boot center (which isnt actually the center of your foot, its at the arch of your foot) so the binding toe peice is farther away from the center than the hell is, thus making less tip than tail.... am i right, and is this bad?

Not sure what u mean by that, but if this helps you I just got a pair of pow airs and they are mounted maad far back but I have found it to be easier to land switch and stuf in the park cause i have more to touch the ground first. Like since i have so more 'ski' in front of the binding when i land switch that part comes down first and then the rest of the ski with it making the landing smooth.

^ true, it may make it easier to land backwards, but it doesnt make it easier to ski switch. And it also wont help to spin with your binding mounted traditionally. By center mounting your bindings, it will make easier to ski switch, and they will spin better because you will have an even amount of swing weight. And when you center mount skis, I usually go 1cm back from center because most of the people that ask for a center mount (myself inculded) dont ski switch as much as we do foreward, and will still perform well at spinning, but be just a little more stable than a true center mount.








I have a theory that all retards have one long tendon that goes from wrist to wrist, so therefore that is why they always are screwin around with one wrist up, and the other one down.

well, im kind of embarased about this but i recently get fujys and i asked them to mount them at the 'core center' mark on the skis. i got the skis back and they mounted them at perfect ski center, and upon further inspection as to why i noticed that there wasnt ANY mounting marks on the skis at all. i then measured the amount of tip from the front of the binding to the tip of the ski and then compaired it to the length of tail (from back of binding to tail of ski) and the tip is about 1 & 1/2 inches shorter than the tail is. i dont know if i should bring the skis back in and tell them that they mounted them wrong or not cuz i dont know if this is a bad thing or not. i have skied on the ski for about 3 hours total and i didnt notice that big of a problem, but im still worried. any input?

my skis are like that they are an inch up from center but i like it that way they are extremely stable switch

i asked to get my pe's mounted 3 cm's forward, and they ended up putting them like only 2 cm ofrward, and it looks like they did it normal mounting, theres so much tip comparred to tail...so if i asked for center mounting, but like 1 cm back, would the binding be further up that it would be now??
