Alright, well i posted this long version under 'Regressing on spins (update)' if you want the whole skid, but.
I got over the fear have been throwing 3's over a 12 foot table with a 3 ft lip that throws you out and not too much up. I was landing backwards and wiping out from under rotating, corking up,and while im in the air it's either a blur or im looking at my feet. I'm trying to do any of that. What should i do to fix this, i spin left, although see better over my right shoulder. ...

its probably because you are looking back and down. Look back and out when you are spotting your 3. Try getting a friend to stand on the inrun somewhere, so you can spot him at 180.

dont spot at 180, keep ur head and shoulders turned, if u spot ull stop ur spin and wont get all the way around, especially off a jump that small

should i be throwing on a bigger jump? And basically is the thought I need to pop off the top and keep my head more level? Agree with that, disagree, additions, suggestions anyone? And thank you everyone who has helped me in this thread and in the past... trying to get this shit ready for tomorrow :) Thanks...

Technically, it'll be easier to do it off a bigger jump because you'll have more time. But it will also be scarier.
Just pop off the lip and keep looking over your shoulder until you see the landing at 360 and then open up for the landing. Should bring it in perfectly.
Good luck man!

really, it's twice as easy on a bigger table, my first one was on a 25 footer

do it on a jump that's at least 20 feet and it won't be such a blur when you are spinning. also, for me, i make sure i have my weight on my toes when i pop, and that keeps me on axis. remember that the angle of the jump will put you in the backseat, so when you pop, you need to counteract that by popping forwards a little bit.

yea dude, forward pressure, if you put a little bit of pressure on your shins, like you can feel them touch the front of your boot, you might fix the problem there too

pop like hell and make sure your leading with your upper body and more specifically your head
u also wanna vision your spin as parallel to the ground to avoid goin corked
on such a small table u r prolly hucking it, so hucking parallel is VERY important

ive had this problem upo to a lil bit ago,pop is most important, plus u can use ur arms for a while just to get the rotation around till it feels comfortable, also u can lead wit ur shoulders and keep pushin them that'll help to.

Ohh I had that... Spin left, easier to look over right shoulder. I just practice skiing lotsa switch shit looking over my left untill it got more natural. Try it? Also, graduate to a bigger table..maybe 20 feet, and take some hits. It wont be too bad on a 20 footer. My first 3 on a good sized table took 20 minutes to think about and get the balls for, and then I just did it. Then I kept doing it and doing on that table, till I progressed to bigger tables where I smoothed it out, added grabs, and then learned bigger spins.
