Does anyone know if line chronics can be center mounted and, if so how would they ride?
Also how do the anthems compare to the chronics?

I deeply hated mine mounted center, and then + .5 of center(boot change). Here is why Chronics suck at center: Line built them with "equal flex" or something like that, meaning, from the recommended mount, there is the same amount of flex in the tip and tail, getting softer and softer as you go farther away from the binding. At the recommended mount(which is gay for park at -6) they carve super well because of that. Line completely built them to perform best at that mount(much more so than say AR6s or Dumonts) and when mounter 6cm forward of where they were made to be mounted, the carving sucks badly. I mean they don't carve cleanly...They turn, but anybody who says that they CARVE clean turns on groomers at center is full of shit. They do break in a bit around where you mount, but not enough to make it worth it.
Luckily, I snapped the core of one of mine literally the last day of the season, and got a full warranty(I dropped them off at the shop w/bindings(precious S914s) and LINE/K2 lost the broken skis(just one broke..) and the bindings somehow..so I got a full warranty of about $350 store credit to Evo. I spent that on 181 Pipe Cleaners(so paid about 30 cash for new skis), which I mounted at -2, and they carve like a race ski, and accelerate as fast and really areat least as fast as my GS race skis did, with the same wax. The bases are more durable than chronics( which aren't anything like a good Moment/Surface base) and are much faster, and hold wax much better. Pipe Cleaners I think are lighter, and feel better spinning. So unless Line makes a Chronic park or something, with similar construction made to be mounted at about -2, I will never be wanting a pair.
The closest thing to Chronics I can think of that are great skis are Extremes. Very similar flex..just great jump skis. AR6s and PCs are also great choices, along with Dumonts(yes, suspect/dumont is unchanged, BUT now Salomon has better quality control and isn't sending out pairs that have edge/sidewall seperation, which was the big problem), Dynastar Sixth Sense Superpipe(if you want a 175, go snag those now off gear swap, great skis).
