sorry it's a dumb saying but i can't help my self. I think vegitarians are cool, but i'm already freekishly thin, i don't think it would cause any good in the world if i started only eating veggies.

I know a few vegitarians and vegans, I deffinatly respect them a ton, it's amazingly hard to be a vegan. I still eat meat and stuff but I pretty much just try and keep as many chemicals out of my body as I can...

my dads cousin is a crazy vegan, she is so skinny because she can hardly get nutrients and she gets like no fat. i couldnt o that for a week

my buddy is converted to a vegan, he studies buddah and does tai chi and wing chun and yoga, i swear he's gonna start his own cult....or religion.....i guess id join, but the females would all have to be naked...all the time.

How a person can resist meat is amazing. Thats why they earn my respect

I would die without they warm tender cow and pig. Burgers, Steaks, Ribs, Bacon, Ham, Sausage, Hot Dog, Bratwurst and all the other wonderful creations made from animals (ok they sounds wrong...sorry).

whoa did this start because of my vegitarians post on the 'people id like to beat up' thread? i didnt mean to insult anybody. i know a few vegitarians and theyre just normal people. i wanna try going veggie for a whole week. i mean nothing meat, fish, pork, chicken, you name it. i dont get vegans though. id die after a day without milk or cheese and that stuff.

No, I was just curious. I'm a vegitarian, and I just wanted to know if anyone else was. I've got a friend that's vegan, but I could never go that far! I love milk! Sort of along the same lines... Has anyone heard the song 'Carrot Juice is Murder' by the Arrogant Worms? It's about people who kill farmers to save the vegetables... lol

Yeah, it wasn't that hard for me either and I live with a bunch of meat lovers. It's a personal statement.

The only way to drop something is if you truly want to. I mean, if you hate meat or can't stand the thought of eating animals then it's not going to be all that hard not to eat meat. Does that make sense?

we got alot of fake meat stuff made by morning star and other companies that you can get at the supermarket..although only go shopping for them with me bc alot of them really suck and are nasty.
here's a list:

for non-meat/fake meat food when you need that burger!


morning star products:

chicken nuggets
grillers (burgers)
chic patties
breakfast links and patties

Worthington: (get these at a health food store)

hot dogs - called 'Big Franks'


those are about the only ones that taste close to real meat and cook like them. wow i kinda got carried away..oh well

Pretty much all of those reasons.. Eating meat just isn't something that's right for *me*. I couldn't do it anymore, so I just stopped.

I love meat personaly, but I would never force it on someone else. I could go without meat though, but if you don't eat meat U need to find another source of protein. yup. And that song by the arrogant worms.....Sweet.....

I like meat. I can't aford to get letuce or other green stuff.... and you can buy meat in bulk and freeze it.... so yea I eat meat. and pasta... and rice. and peanut butter. yea. and beer. thats about it.

I know a lot of vegans, they are pretty common in the edge community. Some are amazingly obese, I guess thats what you get when you eat jar after jar of peanut butter. Vegans dont need to be skinny, if they eat right you would never know...tofu, soy, all those things have tons of nutrients in them. The Smiths havea good song, Meat is Murder...and Thumb has a song Caveman in Disguise both are about being vegi. I eat meat but I never would make fun of someone who believes in an animals right to live as long as they dont interfer with my right to eat some chicken wings.

hardcore people i think are stupid, it wont kill you or give you disease if you do things like that. I eat chicken and beef once and awhile if i have to, but i try and stay away from it.

Did anyone hear about the group of Vegitarians that sued McDonalds???

McDonlads uses beef extract on their fries, and they were trying to pass it off as vegetable oil.

I was so pissed off when I heard about it, because when you think of french fries, you think of potatoes. You wouldn't think that you'd have to ask if there were meat products in them or something.

The Vegitarians won the case, and McDonalds had to make a huge donation to some Vegitarian groups.

I went to McDonalds today and got them to make me special 'not cooked in beef fat' fries. They were actually pretty good.

im surprised at the amount of vegitarians on the site.. I'm totally indifferent to it, its their buisness. But I couldnt go a week without having a big grilled steak, or a 8 oz hamburger off the grill... or chicken nuggets... etc... mmmm

Actually, witchbaby666, there's more than one type of vegitarian. There are red meat vegitarians, who eat only white meat, vegitarians who don't eat any meat, and vegans.

theres a vegan revolution going on in my school or something. kids are switching over who just the day before were eating hamburgers. they're handing out pamphlets trying to get others too, its actually kinda scary. one kid always comes to class eating whole heads of raw broccoli and cauliflower. and yeah, its popular in the straightedge community, like someone said. i don't really have anything against it...my sister was vegan for a time. i just think it would suck always having to read the labels and paying attention to what you eat rather than just stuffing your face.

That is kind of weird. There are a lot of vegitarians and vegans at my school, but they don't force their opinions on other people. They choose what they eat what they eat, and they believe that other people have that same right.

i dunno i used to get made fun of. but now ive loosened up a bit and sometimes eat some meat when im out to dinner when all the have is some veggie wrap crap with vegetables in it, yeah ill order something that tastes better.
some restaraunts still have the mindset that if ur a vegetarian all you can eat is vegetables
