Free program for macs for mixing music

So im a new mac user

I was wondering if theres any program i can download for free where i can basically put music into a soundtrack style song for sports games at my school.

I know about soundtrack the program but im pretty sure you have to have final cut.

ya it does but isnt that only for real instruments

audacity is really easy to use. drag a song into it. cut and paste as you please. works both mac and pc. and its open source= free

yea garageband works
As long as you're not "mixing" you'll be fine, you can import songs, cut them, move them around etc. on a timeline and that's all you need from what I can see.
