Bioshock 2

so just saw some gaemplay, where you "hunt the big sister"
and in it your a big daddy who can use plasmids and go explore the sea, you an either adopt or harvest little sisters, and you have to protect them and set up traps, whih i think is totally badass.
any thought on the game? post em here.

i played the first one all the way through....idk....I didn't really like it. I just don't like games like that where you walk around a lot exploring and getting jumped at by the bad guys. The game was really cool, but I just don't enjoy that type of gameplay. I like COD style much better with constant action and less exploring and BS-ing around.

Also I found that in Bioshock #1 i was always out of ammo from fighting the Big Daddies and I would just die over and over since I had no ammo. That got old fast.

I would imagine the new one will be pretty cool....if somebody gave it to me for free I'd absolutely play it but I just can't justify spending $60.00 on it ya know? Since I'm broke currently, it really has to be awesome in my mind to spend that money. Thus far, only COD MW 2 is in that category.

yeah i see your point, bioshock was always the kinda game i wanted to play at night cause of those splicers that just jump at you out of nowhere.
but being a bigdaddy, with a drill, and plasmids, and being able to explore the ocean, just sounds fun.

the only thing is in the first one you were sorta the underdog and you felt like you could be beaten but being a big daddy in this one will probably take away the fear cause you know you can just fuck shit up

the first one is so easy, i mean you die and it means practically nothing because your progress stays the same. hopefully the second one will be more difficult and have a larger variety of enemies and such.

assassin's creed 2 is coming out in like november and even if BioShcok 2 wasnt pushed back i would still buy AC2 first....

dont get me wrong, i loved bioshock 1 but i thought tht dead space was scarier than it, and bioshock 2 looks mad good.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere and story of bioshock but the gameplay was kinda lacking. On easy the game was too easy and it was impossible to die. On medium and hard it took like 30 headshots to kill anything and you never had enough ammo so eventually turned into 'whack enemy with the wrench until I die and then repeat until it dies'. I played the game for the atmosphere and the story, not the gameplay. If the new one gets the gameplay down it'll amazing.

it does... but the multiplayer aspect of the game is being outsourced to a different developer... which may or may not be a good thing.

haha I downloaded the demo, and it was just too much for me. I can't take even remotely scary games haha. I learned that with doom 3 back in the day, holy shit...

the only thing i dont want to see in it is host connection or lag switchin queefs, i dont understand tht game developers and publishers dont see that all these laggin queers think tht they can get pussy from achieving an online game.
