Replying to Skiing in my 20s or work for 20 years then mabey ski its a hard desision
So ive graduated for High School.
I did so in December of 05. In Januart 2006 i moved to whistler as a ski instructor.. I from Toronto, before my job in Whistler i had never been above clouds skiing in the west. The best i ever had was Qubec. So going to Whistler, the parts the powder and the contrast from toronto blew my mind.
I skied somthing like 140 days that year. I was teaching these guys who i know had more money than me, but could only afford a week or two away from the desk a year. This was the begining of the conversation that i have been having for the las t 4 years. The question was who is the richer person.
so over all what should i do. now its 4 years later and mabey 550 days of skiing in Whistler, Lake Louise Revy and many others. I come back to Toronto every summer spring and Fall to do College (which i struggle in and dislike.) And every year i have the option to either buckel down and studdy or ski. And this year im turning 22. its then end of my parents benfits( dentel, free persription glasses.. ect) this year so their is alot of presure to go to school all year. But i know if i dont go skiing this year it might be a very long time if every before i get to ski 140 days in Whistler again. .
so what should i do? should i ski, and risk it all. or should i do what every one else is doing and go to school get a job and work for 20 years in hopes of one day getting to ski 140 days a year and live in whistler. hard desitions.
what would u do. this thread was created to be critized, so let her rip, im not judging.
