I thought he was a second-rate blues-wannabe guitarist until I saw that. He's damn good in my eyes after that song and I totally respect his ability and legitimacy now.

There's no way he thought that TMZ wouldn't find his mug. He just had 25K burning a whole in his pocket, and found a good way to get rid of it. Besides, he has an album coming out, nothing like a little publicity to help himself out.

On a side note, I follow him on Twitter, and that dude is hilarious. Like someone said before, he doesn't take himself too serious.
