Tanner "the fucking MAN" Hall. Seriously after they kicked julien to the curb i lost all respect for them. I own ARG's and quite frankly won't buy any of their stuff ever again unless it is a T-Hall pro model. I can't believe there is only 1 thread on this. what if in 2 years line dropped pollard. I can't see that happening, but then again i thought for sure armada would keep julien until he retired.
I don't want to support ARmada, but i do want to support Tanner. Hopefully Armada gets the message and cleans up their act.

^Originally they did, first year of public production and before that they were pressed in Quebec. The european stuff is MUCH better durabilty wise. Armada makes an excellent product.

I ment that in a joke-y sort of endearing way, I think Tanner is the man, he's the reason I still ski actually. However, someone else in this thread already said that Tanner's job is to ski and he doesn't worry about the business side of things, so I was right anyway.

um. what about the prophets? and the afterbang? or butter zones? or a fully symmetric park ski? or the ollieband? ive always been blown away by the shit line has tried out. the reactor did fail but im sure that in a few years a similar product will be produced by somebody and it will work very well. without the success and failures of companies like line, we would all be stuck in the 90's or snowboarding. im not crediting line with everything our sport has done to progress, but i think we can agree it would be alot different if levinthal didnt start making skis in his garage because his idea of skiing was something the market at the time wasnt producing. it pisses me off too when people say pollard = line. hes the shit, he blew my mind when i saw him switch carving thru pow he is progressing in a way that he wants but will and andy and lj and those guys are pushing the sport in a new area too and line has always been that kind of company to support different shit and most of the time it has worked out well to make line what it is today.

You probably should though. Seriously, we would not even have half the skis on the market right now if not for Line. They are willing to try new and different things in spite of what the market looks like at the time. Line pushes design because they don't care if something is safe in terms of sales, so long as it could work. The reactor may have failed but just to give it a chance was a huge deal, because that binding could have changed everything in this sport, and its progeny still probably will at some point. Line lays the foundation. This isn't a Line thread but the post you quoted was pretty ridiculously idiotic.
