weird error/beeping noise

So i just felt like looking at my profile, and i clicked on my name, and my comp made this weird noise ive never heard before and it didnt show my profile. I tried with all the other names but they did the same thing

That's strange. I'm guessing that is a problem with your browser. When you click to view the profiles on the left, I believe it uses javascript in order to create the new window. So if your javascript controls were faulty/buggy at the moment it could very easily trip up.
Restarting your computer may fix the problem. You tried that?

the menus use javascript also. Does it do something similar with that?

If so your problem is definatly your browser. Doa s ghostdragon said and restart. Failing that reinstall your browser.

However it could have just been that your system was out of resources (RAM) did the whole thing freeze?

Its all good its working now, its probably becuase im retarded and i think a pop up blocker was on
