realy realy need some help

I have started to get my 3's dialed now but the only problem is that I have only done them off small jumps outside of the park. I want to try it off like a 20 footer in the park but since I do them on small jumps I wind up and spin realy hard. I've even over rotated on small jumps and done 450's. I'm afraid if I try to spin off something in the park I'll over rotate and die. Does anyone have any advice on how to slow them down?

I'm not trying to be an asshole, but- you just gotta fucking do it, man. Just don't set it hard. I guess a good way to get used to spinning slower is to do a few 180s on the jump first, get used to a slow rotation. Then just take that same rotation and set it a bit faster. Don't think about setting a 360 rotation.

well what happened to you then??/\?? welll i would just say hold your arms in and when you come around and see the landing spread your arms out and that should slow you down enought to land. if you over rotate then go back up and try it again but without winding it up as much

making sure i spot my landing early has helped my to not over roate. If you jsut throw it and over roate your know that you dont need to spin so fast the next time, and then the next time if you underroatate then you know a median of where you need to spin and youll be set.

yeah, i just tried my first 360 on a 25ish footer in the park. big mistake. first time i under rotated, landed a little past 180 and fell, but didnt really hurt. second time i under rotated even more but managed to land a 180 instead without tryin - pretty pathetic. next day i came back, but hit the jump with wayy too much speed, and threw my shoulders too much, and ended up kinda slipping onto my back in the air at 90. needless to say i flew about 40 feet ate huge shit on the landing and ended up with the wind knocked out of me and a huge bruise on my left leg. tons of fun.

the best thing i can say is to be patient in the air and commit. dont think like you should see your landing right off of the jump just set a smaller rotation and wait for it to come around and trust me it will

FIRST LET ME SAY THIS: falling isn't that bad, as long as your park designers and constructors know what they are doing. SECONDLY: I just tried 3's the past weekend over our 20-25 foot table and I ate shit so bad the first time because I didn't rotate 'enough'. All I am trying to say is that if you try it and fall it's not that bad, and trying is the only way to figure out how to dial your spin in and get them down sweet. When I fell it didn't hurt, I just felt like a piece of shit and got back up, hiked to the drop in, and tried it again, and ate shit again. But its all good, its skiing
