New Atomic Bindings

They DO exist. why the hell haven't we heard more? My bro saw em' on a pair of tweaks in the back of Rex's truck and says they look ridiculously light.

anyone know anything more about these or possibly have pics?

look is making atomic's freestyle bindings for next year. other than that atomic has a new binding coming out with a computerized release mechanism. pretty cool stuff.

they released some pics in this month's ski canada. Maybe they have a website? otherwise check out skipass.com it's french but you might be able to find something there.

well it's true, Atomic is working on a new binding, the ones I'm on now are the 'Atomic by Look' essentialy they're a high end look binding with a different cosmetic, they're Red and Blue and the DIN is from 8-18.
The Neox is the new binding that we're releasing but we're going to have a modified version for the 'jib' skis, one that is significantly lighter. I haven't seen the drawings yet but from what I've been told they're going to be super sick.

so with the computerizd binding, what happens if the battery goes dead, do they not release thus causing the user to die a very terrible death?








I have a theory that all retards have one long tendon that goes from wrist to wrist, so therefore that is why they always are screwin around with one wrist up, and the other one down.

They say that the binding will continue to release properly after the battery dies, but it won;t tell you whatever the hell the computer tells you.

there is so much useless crap on Atomic bindings that make them heavy and bulk, just get a sturdy (high DIN) basic binding with good safty features

They are a collaboration between Look and Atomic. They're essentially Look Turntables and yes, they are ridiculously light.

that's pretty tight. i like look's bindings for that fact that the axial system helps protect acls!

8-18 is basically a race stock DIN range, is that going to be made available to the general market?

the Atomic By Look, I believe is team issue only and won't be available to the general market but that's just what they tell em and they could change their mind about it. I'm pretty sure that the new park binding (made by Atomic) is going to be super sick once they get the design finished, I like the look's alot so it'll be hard to top them but I think Atomic's on the right track cause they know that weight was the problem with the old bindings and they're doing everything possible to fix it.

yeah ive seen em...Rex, Scoob and Steve Kerr are skiing on them with those new atomic skis, wiht the super wide shovel...M:X's or sumtin like that? anyways i tried em out...tehy are fuckin off the hook crazy light, nothing like the demo binding im currently stuck with on my tweaks :P
