Moment Rudys

Im looking to buy some pow skis and am interested in the moment rudys. has anyone every rode these? know about them? or are there any other sugestion within that price range?

one of my friend has them. says he loves them, never let me ride them so idk but they seemed to handle everything really well from chop to crud to pow, whatever. they looked sick for sure.

They seem like a JJ style ski to me. Mid-fat, rockered.

ugh yeah... the ruby is nothing like the jjs. ruby is regular camber ski and does not have the same shape. real fuckin close though

First, you should know that each size has a different flex with the 190 being the stiffest (similar to a Gotama), and 188 being the softest and the 180 somewhere in the middle. Only the 190 has a flattish tail while the other two are big twins. I've only been on the 190 and for an everyday ski, they were awesome. Super stable at high speeds and handled the crud well but were quite playful in powder. Great on groomers but I thought it was too much ski in tight spots (probably could have mounted a little forward I suppose).

And for a non-rockered ski, they float really well. Never had tip dive even with 12+ inches of new.
