at park city i see alot of old guys with 1080's and almost every park goer has tape and this crazy filling over the to sheet. conclution 1080's are over rated. most kids i know their 1080's broke in some way on like the 12th time using them

man i have a really old pair of 1080s, i think there the first ones every made, with the black bases..i uses them for rails. THere the most durible ski ever! But now to good to ride

ya the old 1080's are good i am talking about the space frames their good for pros cause they break them and get new ones.

when i was hiking the bowl at highlands, i think i saw 5 pairs of 1080s besides mine, every single person had to be over 30... it was kinda funny

the old tens are hella durable. mine are centermounted and have been mounted 4 times and still refuse to break.

I just got a pair of the newest 181 1080s, so I hope you guys are wrong when you say they break because I've used them twice now, and they seem solid, if they break I will be real pissed off

mine 161 1080's started to delaminate at one of the tips but if you send them back they warranty them. that is what i did. i only used them for 7 trips

yeah, ive got the 181 1080's from last season(the same as this season) and ive bent them in a U shape so many times, done a ton of rails and boxes, big hits, they're still fine. I went through a few pairs of dorions, but i really like these skis, i think alot of people rock them just because they're 1080s
