if you read the faq's it explains everything and links you to a page where you fill out a form and soon enough they send you an email explaining the rest.
lowriders guy - my lowriders broke on the first day, sent them in, and got a new pair which is even sicker.
you dont need proof of purchase but they will ask you for the day you bought them and with that you can just choose a random date.

yeah your going to have to cut off the cord and send it in, thats all that they need rom the headphones.
