Just got a call from my local shop my 2010 JJ's came in heading to the southern hemisphere friday. search bared this didnt find anything suprisingly. where are you all mounting your JJ's and for what kind of skiing?
hey I mounted mine at 2.5cm ahead of the midsole mark. Most the Armada team rides them there, but tanner goes +5. I ski all over , riding switch quite a bit. I think +5 is unneccesary, for me anyways. The midsole mark is the centre of the sidecut of the ski, so the more you move your mount position ahead, the more performance you lose skiing forwards, especially on the harder snow. I think i would've been fine having them mounted at mid, but i like the little bit of extra tail for switch landings
i mounted my JJ's 2cm back and i skied them switch alot also big mountain and pow they worked amazingly. The only thing i can think of is dont use them to much for non powder skiing i ended up riping the tail binding out
