Why cant i make my icons?

i choose 50x50 pixels in photoshop, save it, and i cant upload it, i get another, save it, and still nothing.
why?

well, i think when i made mine, i cropped a larger photo, then i scaled, then when you fiddle with the size you make sure its 72 dpi, and when you save you can save for web and devices, and make sure u save on medium and it should be small enough...i had to play with it a bit, im no pro tho.

oh dear...
open your image in photoshop. go to image, image size, make sure your resolution is 72 (which i guess may not matter once you save it but just do it). then go to layer, and see if the last option which is available is flatten image, click it if you can, and then after youve done that, go to file, save for web and devices, then before you save, make it a jpeg and under that change the size to medium and then save. and then try that. when you get the info on your picture by right clicking, you should be able to tell if your file is the right size.

make sure it isnt a jpg. because bmp. is smaller

I've been thinking about changing the colors on mine. Anyone thing I should. I kind of want to go back to the puke green like my first icon but still make my icon never stop loading.

You just pick a picture of whatever you (something that won't distort once making smaller) want and resize it with a photo program to be 50X50, then upload under account tools (I think, maybe through your inbox profile).
