I was a freshman last year and was pretty nervous but once you get ued to a bigger school and other stuff, it is just school, same as 8th grade except a little harder.

The kids i had to worry about the most were sophomores because there were some in my classes and all they wanted to do was make fun of the new freshmen.

I didn't meet that many seniors but the ones that i did were fine and my brother was a junior so i had a lot of friends there

just don't walk too fast through the hallways or carry a big backpack because everyone targets those kids

you should be. in most areas around here, freshman got fucked up the first week of school. kids were checked into lockers constantly, lots of kids were tripped, some fights broke out, and there were stink bombs in the freshman hallways. you also have to get used to more homework and the dick hs teachers. being a freshman blows. it was my only shitty year of high school.

Math and English do.  Everything else is a joke.  I am good at math, always have been.  But my senior year  (last year) I got real good at writing and that helped alot and will help alot in college.

you better hit the gym at least 3 times a day because you will get your ass kicked almost every week.

you should probably eat your lunch in the bathroom stall to avoid being made fun of in the cafeteria.

also if i were you i would leave class 5 minutes early to avoid confrontations in the hall. if any, i mean any, upperclassmen see your pussy ass walking down the hall you will most defiantly get stuffed in a locker.

haha i still remember last year when i was in grade 11.  my friend was doing tours for the grade 8s (future freshmans) for my school and a bunch of seniors came out and started making all these nasty threats too them :P.  they were joking but looking at the kid's faces, it looked like their sarcasm meters were broken..

math doesnt matter if you stop taking it even for a few trimesters/semisters. I was required to take 3 years of math, so of course I only took three, two years later my freshman year in college and I have to re learn everything, well, see my other post about me failing at life.

don't be nervous. i went from a small private school to a big public school where i knew no one my freshman year and i was fine. i was a little nervous but i ended up loving it. i never saw any freshman really get picked on by upperclassmen or anything except for maybe some idiots on the first day. just ignore them though if they say something. but overall high school is boss! be excited not nervous

dont make a big deal of frosh year, when it comes to sports, you will be the bitch regardless of what people may say. they will make you go get water etc, its just the way of things. What you don't wanna do is continue being the bitch during everyday classes and shit. High school is fun, i wouldn't worry about it.

play sports,   i played football and practices started   before school so i got to know a lot of upperclassman as well as other kids, i also did track so i met all these people,    jsut dont do something stupid,   its gonna be different because kids will be driving themselves  as welll as yes kids drink and smoke and youll here stories,  and dont make a fool of yourself   and youll be fine,   good luck man  hs is so musch better than middles school

alright here's what i would tell myself when i was a freshman that i wish i woulda knew:

GET GOOD GRADES seriously it helps so much this is #1 for sure.

make sure you do some funny shit in high school i was too pussy to do funny shit till senior year live it up dont get caught and usually it wont be something that bad if you arent retarded just weigh out the consequences

DO NOT by any means put the pussy on the pedestal.

you wont end up marrying whoever your girlfriend will be so go ahead and play around with a few dont get too involved its all bad youre gonna breakup before college anyway.

don't stress too much about school either anxiety can be a bitch just do your work cheat if you have to which i did a lot later on in my career. actually don't stress too much about a lot of shit, just get it done because once you do stress it will inhibit your ability to get all your shit done in time.

treat girls like you own them and they will come your way but still be nice dont be too much of a douche. ***be nice to draw them in and then make them chase. if one doesnt like you move onto the next its not a big deal just keep rollin.

start using a summer setup a ton and your rails will be so good by the time you get to college.

HIDE YOUR DANK WELL FROM PARENTS dont get caught its not fun ive been caught multiple times and i will tell you it made my life so much more stressful.

if i woulda known all this shit my life would have been so much easier!

honestly just hang out with your friends in your grade and don't try to like climb the social ladder.  Everyone ends up fitting in somewhere in highschool and has their own group of friends.

The best thing you can do is find a core group of guy friends if you don't have one coming to highschool with you from 8th grade and just hang out with them.  You'll be fine.

I'm going into my senior year and honestly I couldn't give a shit about the incoming freshman.  No ones gunna be a dick to you for no reason, you will just be ignored by the upper classman.

And focus on your schoolwork and grades.  Trust me, you'll thank me later.

just going into sophomore year, freshman year, not so bad.  there are rules though,
FIRST: you only have to listen to the sophmores if juniors and seniors aren't around, otherwise, they are the same as you to upperclassmen. 
SECOND: Juniors do have authoriy, treat them with respect, and if they aren't assholes, they wont even aknowlegge you
THIRD: Seniors are gods, whatever they say goes.  If they say MOVE you move. If they say JUMP you ask HOW HIGH.
FOURTH: Since you are a freshman, you have a tendancy to be an annoyance to al upperclassmen. Stay out of their way.

Its no big deal, just dont' annoy the upperclassmen on purpose or act like your the shit.  At least at my school no seniors go out of their way to be dicks to the freshmen, hell I only know about five of them by name.  And the classes are really easy, your Middle school counselors probably tried to make you think otherwise, but they don't know what the fuck they're talking about.  High school doesn't get hard until junior year, and that's only if you struggle in school or take AP or college classes.

Either don't try at all and have tons of fun, or try hard as fuck and have tons of fun once you graduate.  There's no point in doing mediocre.  Don't take shit from anyone, but remember that 4 years from now everything you did and said in 9th grade will mean absolutely nothing so don't take shit too seriously.  No matter how cool you think you are now, once your 16 you will realize how much of a loser you were at 14, and then at 18 how much of a loser you were at 16, etc.  Don't smoke cigarettes.  Don't smoke weed till your 16.  Hold off on drinking as long as possible, and pace yourself, and don't drink and drive.

I also suggest playing a sport.  I played football up until highschool and was really good at it but quit freshman year because everyone took that shit way too seriously (my highschool was best in their league at the time).  Now I sort of regret it, and I have a buddy on our college team, and I'm sort of jealous.

Oh and fuck bitches but wear a condom.  And don't pay more than $20 for a dub because that makes you a bitch.
