09 Line Chronic or 09 Salomon Threat

Im looking for new twin tips for the 09-10 season. Im looking for a good park ski since i go to the park all day. I need a ski thats good on big jumps and rails, but a ski thats also cheap. So should i get the chronic or threat or any other twin tip?

need some more info bud so we can reccomend the right ski.
Like height, weight, kind of skier you are (aggresive, beginner etc.) how big of jumps, what flex you want..
pretty much anything you can tell us about yourself will work

the threats fall apart quite easily. with that said the chronic has long been a considered a bomber ski for its durability. you may also want to look into the mastermind deoending on your height and weight and skill.

Ok im 5'8" 128 pounds and am an agressive skier. I grind rails and boxes and do a lot of 360's. Hope that helps

If you are only sliding rails and boxes and doing 3's i would go with the threat because it's more of an entry level ski but the chronic i think is a better ski

DO NOT BUY SALOMON THREATS! MINE BROKE AFTER 15 DAYS OF RIDING. SALOMON SENT ME A NEW PAIR AND THEY ARE STARTING TO BREAK AFTER USING THEM THE LAST 4 DAYS OF THE SEASON. THEY ARE COMPLETE TRASH. BUY THE CHRONICS OR BE SORRY WHEN YOUR THREATS BREAK.

Buy chronics for sure, you could get lasts years cheap, the green ones. They're great skis, my brother has them.

this shouldnt even be a question.. the chronic is one of the best all mountain park skis you can get your hands on, its durability is top notch and it kills it everywhere. meanwhile the threat is a steaming pile, and doesnt deserve to exsist (i dont have a lot of compassion for salomon park skis the last two years)

yeah i had salomons last season and they are not to good and pretty heavy, the chronic is the lightest ski line makes and its good for jumps and rails, so go for the chronic
