Here's what i did one day since i don't have a trampoline. It wasn't with skis, but u could do it with skis. I just got a bunch of old mattresses, and put them on the bottom and then pilled a whole shitload of blankets and pillows on top, and it works amazing. its not as low impact as a real foam pit, but u can land in it any way without getting hurt, except landing on ur head.
try getting foam from a mattress store it will be so much cheaper then buying blocks
I know this thread is quite old but I just thought I will share my thoughts on a set up that sould solve most of these problems.. I think..
What about a great big inflatable air matress type of deal? Ye' know the 50 ft by 50 ft heavyduty type of material that is inflated to a point not too highly that it is to hard to land on but, has some sort of minimal pressure release so that it stays the right pressure to have a soft landing. Ive seen one of these before and they would be easy to atore and easy to set up.
This is what im talking about. Immagine one in your backyard? I dont know what the cost would be but.. ye know, waay cheaper than a foam pit for sure.
Yeah, I see what you are getting at.
So this Huck and splash thing you are getting at, is this some sort of dryslope terrain park into a pool kinda set up / business you plan on designing/ building?
