Ar6 mounting

This or PC or Thall is asked almost every day.  Some people say center(most people that have skied multiple mounts don't), but I believe(and people that have skied from center to -5) that -2 or -2.5 is best for 100% park.  No Armada Team member(at least the very famous ones) skis true center on AR6s or PCs.  The farthest up mount for any of them is about -1.5(again, most people prefer -2 to -3 for all or mostly park, and -4 to -5 for mostly all mountain)I have my PCs mounted -2(or between -2 and -2.5) since I only care about park performance.

The flex wasn't built around the reco. mount on AR6s as much as it was on a ski like Chronics, but that is one thing(screws with the flex a bit).  They are also going to carve at the second reco.(-2.5) super well, but at center they aren't going to carve as well as they would be mounted 2.5 back.  They will also be less stable, because you have equal tip and tail(more tip(to a certain point)=more stable).  Lastly the skinniest part of the ski will be about underfoot then, which doesn't ski as well as when the skinniest part of the ski is ahead of boot midsole( the skinniest part of a ski should be where the ball of your foot is, even a park ski skiing switch.  This is one of many reasons I believe it is pointless to make a ski symmetrical).

nothing happens, in fact, if you do mostly park (90% or more) they are super sick, they're not bad for all mountain, just sometimes it will be alittle hard to get around. but to answer the question nothing happens, bindings are placed onto the ski, thats it, it's not going to explode or ruin the ski, I skied all season on AR6's mounted at True Center and the only reason I gave them up is because I got a new boot that didnt' fit and I didn't want to remount them so I sold them.

^just so you know, all you had to do is take off the heel piece and make a template and re drill and get some wood glue.  takes no time.

And I said this would happen, YES they ski center, any ski can ski center.  There was also some old guy skiing Invaders(yellowish ones) mounted at like -6....  If they aren't made to be skied center, they probably aren't going to ski best at center even for pure park.  How about this:  Why does the Armada team mount behind center?  maby because they ski best there?  something tells me that the mounting point Armada's team chooses isn't for advertisement.

This is where all the team members of armada mount their pc's, t halls, and ar6's. This is the sweet spot for the ski because of how it is meant to flex and where, how the sidecut is etc. Everyone that has mounted them mutiple places says to go -1.5 for straight park and -2.5 if you want to do all mountain and park, or just all mountain. mounting a non symmetrical ski center defeats the purpose of buying a non symmetrical ski because of the flex, sidecut and all that stuff, because mounting mounting too far forward messes with all these things

Has anyone noticed that the recommended lines aren't actually -5cm and -2.5cm from the true center of the ski? Maybe mine are mis-marked but i doubt it. The front line (-2.5) is actually about 5cm back from true center on my 176s, and the factory line (-5) is actually about 7.5cm back.

Mine are brand new and I've been debating how far back from center to mount.  have read all the threads about ar6s and I was thinking 1.5-2 cm back from true center but now that I measured the skis and realized that the lines are misleading I dont really know what to do.

Who can spit their knowledge to me?
