im going to catch shit for this but a lot of marching bands and football teams have been going since the beginning of august.

and when i say marching band i means stuff like this:

couldnt find one of the whole group on the field but i figured this should suffice...

I had to run thursday
Then friday and saturday three-a-days
today off
monday, tuesday three-a-days
Wednesday, thursday, two-a-days
Firday leave for football camp, 5 days of two-a-days in full pads while being hazed by seniors inbetween and after sessions.
Then we go back to practices (i guess two-a-days) after camp and before school.


its only sunday and everything hurts

we started like 2 months ago with 2 a days for like 3 weeks. Morning fitness evening training. Then we just had a showcase this weekend. Won 3-0 and tied 3-3 to the 4a state runner ups

I'm not in a fall sport but my friends have had football from the day we got out of school through all ten weeks of Summer.  Have to wake up at five every day.  That sucks.

We had wednesday morning workouts the week after football eneded. ever wednesday we get up early and go work out from like 6:15-7:30
then we had camps right after lacrosse season ended, so durring school, and right after school ended...

snow outside a ice-hall + rail = epic win. lots of funny looks from people that pass by...

other preseason activities is partying and gaming. and some soccer shit...

Haha what a complete and utter joke. You're just starting now? How bad does your team suck? Or better yet, just how fucking good is your team that you only need a short time before games start?

When I played soccer in high school we started training after spring break. We had 2-a-days 2 days a week the whole summer. Then a month before our first game we started practicing every single day.

Yeah I'm a band geek too.

Been doing drum line sectionals every week for like 6 hours since mid July, then yesterday we did a 12 hour one. Were going to start doing twice a week pretty soon, should be fun.

nahh I wish I had preseason for a sport right now, i'll be starting physio around September 3rd for my foot tho, then i'll just be doing that as much as I can and try to get in shape enough to join the rugby team.

going back to the gym for personal things to get back in  shape to spar with a friend for MMA.  he is a former Grecco Roman state wrestler and does Muay Thai..  basically, i have to work some more fat off so that i can actually help him with his training.

I guess when she said preseason I took it as actually starting training for the sport. Not really in the sense of say NFL football where their preseason is just practice games. But seriously, once spring break ended I was in the gym and on the track getting in shape. And once summer rolled around there wasn't a day that I didn't touch a soccer ball and run a few miles.
