How to password protect a folder (MAC)

I know some of you kiddies want to hide your porn from your parents, or girlfriends. Personally I want it because I dont like when people look at my editing before its done.
Either way I figured this might help some people.

1. Type in "Disk Utility" into finder. Then open it.
2. Then open the File then New then Disk Image From Folder
3. Find and select the folder you want to have the password
4. Then on the bottom drop box select 128 bit AES or what ever. It will say some combination of 128 and AES
5. enter your password and you golden

** It will for it into a .dmg file but don't worry its the folder. Just double click it and type in your password.

If you have Windows, I believe there is a thread on that already just searchbar it

Just make folder titled "Pornfolio".

















Sorry haha I have no idea how to password protect folders. Maybe go to an Apple store and ask them. They should know.

^^ hes telling you how,

2 tips, make sure you change "compressed" to "read/write" if you want to edit the folder, and to uncheck the save the password to your keychain..

i learned how to do this from my old school, they would do random computer checks so we'd lock our folders and also change our porn to .doc and name it different things so it looked like word documents, then we'd change the extension and go to town
