I am finishing up my 333 design, which has dimensions of 131/142/118/125/116 in a 192. I gave the tail a short(16cm) 3cm rise rocker, and 10cm of taper(plus 4cm normal tail curve that is cut off like EHPs). Not a twin twip. Mount will be from -5 to -6(possibly -7) with Dukes. I haven't skied a pin tail ski before, but thought it made more sense than a full out normal sidecut tail on a ski aimed at pow. What do you guys think of skis like S7/193 EHPs tails for pow/curd charging, and for trees?
Oh and I might as well throw out the design to see what people think, here is just about everything:
-Length:192
-dimensions:131/142/118/125/116 (so skinniest part of tip taper/fattest part of tip/skinniest part of waist/fattest part of tail/skinniest part of tail taper)
-24cm tip length, 10cm of which is normal tip curve, 14 of which is taper.(good)-14cm tail length, 4cm of which is the start of normal tail curvature, then there will be a 6cm wide flat(straight across) tail(make sense? Like EHP)
-38cm length tip rocker(measuring straight no slack) with 7.2cm total rise in each ski.
-16cm tail "rocker" that is constantly curving with 3.5cm of rise.
-5mm of camber underfoot on each ski.
-flex: medium in the tip(or just over medium), medium-stiff tail and stiff underfoot.
this is half of the tip rocker size(vague sketch, but gives you guys an idea). I apologize in advance for the most likely failness of the picture coming up:
