FS: Dalbello Lotus 26.5 purple womens boots NEWish

So my girlfriend dumped $300 on a pair of 2008 model Lotus boots from Dalbello. She said when she tried them on they were comfortable, after the liners are done being molded and everything is all said and done she doesn't use them, and the time that she can return them to the store has passed.

Long story short her foot is almost 11cm wide at its widest point, and these boots are 98mm width, and she can't fit in to these now. She has only been on the hill with them 3 or 4 times, and she unfortunately wasn't even out that long in them. She would like me to get 200 or best offer out of these boots.

Tell her to wear them a few more times, seriously I have size 13 feet and my width is way over 11cm and wear the rampages (mens version) in a 27.5.

It took about 15-20days for the liners to pack out fully, and yeah they gave me a little bit of discomfort for those days but after that they fit like slippers but still tight enough performance wise.

If she really doesnt like them then sure get rid of them but she cant expect them to fit properly after only wearing them a few days, also all race boots are 98mm most high end performance boots are 98mm, its not for smaller feet its just for a more precise fit.

It's her fault. She tried on about a half a dozen pair of boots, and tried these on and said these were the most comfortable she had tried on to date.

I ride a 27.5 Dalbello Proton 8 and she would rather ride in my boots then her own. I told her she needs to break them in, aka several hours of wearing them, and possible half a dozen or more full days of skiing in mildly uncomfortable boots.

Also another reason its her fault. She wanted to buy ski equipment based on looks, and not performance. So her deciding factor on every purchase is more or less how it looks. And she was really happy to find purple boots, but its too bad she is just beginning, and has only been out a dozen times if that. So then she ends up finding places to try on more boots that spring, and shes trying on all these 101-103mm width boots and she wants a pair of them now. Not even a high performance boot, just a beginner boot.

She doesn't want to wear them anymore because she doesn't want to get them scratched up so any potential buyers wouldn't be discouraged. I told her to wear those things around the house for all I care as long as she broke them in....

I know what you mean though. Come this January after her beginner boots with 103mm width and liners are all broken in, she will probably be complaining her foot moves around too much and wants a tighter boot. Then I will have to sit and listen to her complain some more......
