help! I need a bigger ski (I think)

I am about 6 foot 1 inch and I am a fat fuck at about 205 lbs. I currently have Skogens (I think they are the 02-03 model with the train) everyone says that smaller skis are easyer in the park but I am kind of fealing like I need somthing more stable when I land and take off from a jump. Plus I need stiffer skis because I like skiing dubble blacks and I am prutty good at skiing them (the skogens are prutty bad for the harder, steeper terrain) I am thinking about getting the 180 MSPs (these are the ones I want most) but I am also looking into Seth Pistols, motherships, and mabey the bigger Armadas (I foreget what they are called). I think I want somthing in the 180 range in terms of length (but if I should get somthing different tell me) and I am prutty sure I want a wide ski. Also I am getting them for my birthday but my family doesn't want to spend $500. as far as I know those skis are $500 as of now atleast, but will I be able to find any of them on sale a little later in the season (do you think I will be able to get the MSPs on sale or are they too popular???) like I said, so far I like the MSPs the most and I like the Pistoles second most (just from what I have heard).

get the MSPs if your planning on riding the park alot. Seth Pistols are fucking sick but i wouldnt recomend them to anyone who rides park more than powder.

GET MO SHIPS
theyre long enough, and you mite want longer than 180 at your size(no offense)for big steeps, and the motherships are good in the park. Also theyre pretty wide too

i was lookin into this, cause im a similar size, 5 11 and 200ish, and i figure that the best looking skis were the 180 MSP, 182 Scratch BC, or the Mothership
ive ridden both the BC and the MoShip, and theyre both sick skis.
the only problem i have with the MSPs, is that the tail is a fair amount narrower than the tip, making it a little tougher to really finish up the turn(you'll really notice a difference if you carve like a racer), but other than that they look sick

just out of curiosity how is 6'1' 205 fat? he may not be a stick, but that is definitely not fat.
'can you read what that says?'
'donna simma?'
'yes, that's right. now how would that appear in a phone book?'
'simma, donna?'
'that's right now Simma down na!'

motherships are super fat, probably scratch BCs, armada ARVs, MSPs, and pollards would be pretty good.
if you want to go bigger though, 188 scratch BCs or 189 pistols as well. I'm only 5'8, 160, and I ski 179 pistols. so you could probably go 185-190 range.

i can't really think of a worse ski for you than skogens.....i have 180 msp's and they are the shizz.....and you outweigh me by about 15-20 lbs, but they should still support you just fine

whoa, 205 and 6 1 isnt fat, sure, theres a chance he could have a little beef on him, but still doesnt mean he's fat. or did you ever think that you're just not the strongest person around? im willing to bet that he's a fair amount stronger

Go with Mo Ships. I am 6'4' and 210lbs. I got mine (182s) and will never go back. They are great for bigger skiers because it takes a little more strength to control them on groomed/icy trails.

I do EVERYTHING! I wish to get better in the terrain park and I also want some skis that are good for doing the harder, steeper runs. I could probably get by with a ski that is not so great in the mougles if that is they way things work out...

for an 'everything' ski I'd recomend scratch BC's, the only bad thing I'v found with mine is that too many donkeys have them. they are pretty good in the park and are fine for your DOUBLE BLACKS.

dont go anything shorter then a 180 (or a 179 Pe because in truth that is a 181) I'm 6' and 145 lbs and curently ski on a 169PE. next season im going with someting around a 180 or a 186 pollard.
