Trasnferring some super 8 footage

I am going to be transferring some old super 8 footage... I'll be projecting it onto a white sheet and setting up my camera on a tripod behind the projector. What settings do you think I should use? I was thinking 24P with shutter priority manual white balance and Manual focus. Anyone have any suggestions?

you def need shutter priority, you will need to adjust it to eliminate flicker. I converted super8 footy once but not on my hv. tell how it works

Ive gotten through about 45 minutes of it... Im running 60i with shutter priority set to 30 and adjusting the projector to eliminate flicker. Some of it is pretty neat. There is some ski footage from Jackson Hole in the 70s.
