How many people actually floss on a regular basis? I have decided im going to try to start, i hate getting cavities filled and the dentist rips on me so hard when she sees i dont floss.
I've never had a cavity in my life (claim). I usually only brush once a day in the morning. I floss maybe once every 100 days when the mood is right. Recently I've been flossing more because my wisdom teeth are coming in, and I dont like having food stuck between my molars for days.
Our advancements in dental hygene may be a leading factor in our improved life-expectancy and quality of life, but I will always be an anti-dentite.... I hate dentists, I hate going to the dentist, I hate the nasty paste the put on your teeth to polish them, I hate having to keep my mouth open for an extended period of time as some med-school drop-out scrapes my teeth.... i hate it all.
how old are you? I can almost guarantee you'll have a cavity with that brushing routine...also your teeth will yellow so much faster when you get older.
Im only 16 but i got the same approch as you, exept my dentist is an ex royal navy dentist who was on a ship that sunk during the falklands, hes fucking brutal and im sure he will punish me navy style is he see's me with bad teeth.
im lucky enough to only have 2 cavity's. because i was born without enamel on my teeth. its the stuff that protects your teeth from shit, the hard outer layer if you will.
I think a lot of people aren't taking in to consideration that genetics takes part in whether or not you get a lot of cavities.
I have a friend who's dad always had teeth problems. Always getting cavities as such. My friend has the same problem so he brings a toothbrush wherever he is and brushes his teeth multiple times a day. Even after this he gets cavities. Some people can brush lightly once a day and never have any tooth issues. It all just depends.
