i used Music Rescue and it worked really well for me http://download.cnet.com/Music-Rescue/3000-2169_4-10257368.html i think u can download it from that link and just use a free trial  as many times as you want

You can go into your computer>than ipod>than go into the folders which are named really weird and just copy them all.

i do the same thing. you dont even need a program. just go find them on your computer and drag them all into itunes
