the one playing at 6:15 is "Not Exactly" by Deadmau5 and the track at 20:30 is "Ghosts N Stuff" which is also by Deadmau5 (and found in the Everyday is a Saturday trailer). i'm going to try to put together a full tracklist tomorrow... i honestly have no idea what it is right now- i usually just pick out the first two songs and let it go from there.

man loving all the daft and justice in here.  and the deadmau5 is so mandatory.  grungy basslines are seriously the shit.  if you dont understand grungy basslines just listen to the everyday is a saturday trailer and you will then understand.  banger mix mang look forward to dling the rest of your stuff.

I dont dislike it, the mixing was iffy obviously but its your second mix ... what i really didnt like is that these songs are all pretty typical very popular well known songs in electronic and i think you could definatly widen your variety! Explore the many sub genres of electronic and your ears will be thankful. Keep it up though.

it's called "Pour Mon Amour" for a reason... in this mix and the one i just put together last night, i used a ton of music she and i listened to together.  i agree, there's a lot of well-known songs in the mix, but that was kinda the point.  our favorite stuff to listen to all put together with a few things she won't see coming.

i recorded a new mix last night, but have yet to be able to upload it... lots of "staple" songs in there, but again, it's kind of the point. 

but seriously... how can you argue with the Tocadisco rmx of "I Found U"?

i couldn't agree more about the basslines.  i saw MSTRKRFT b2b Deadmau5 at Lollapalooza just a couple weeks ago and it definitely changed where i was going with mah mixes... more dirty, hard shit (not so much in this one, but the one i put together has a pretty fun end with a bunch of Deadmau5).

i'm just gettin down on a Numark CDMix3 right now... i'd upgrade in a heartbeat, but i kinda have a move from Vegas to Miami in a couple months to save for as well as saving for a trip to Serbia asap to get mon amour back.  but once i'm in Miami with her (she DJs, as well, and we've been talking about what we want to get after we move) we're defintely going nuts and getting a bonerific set-up.  it's sick as fuck having a girlfriend who does this, too (and is way better than i am, i might add), because i doubt i'll ever have to justify gear to her, haha.

Overall you have some good ideas, but as said before your mixing's really iffy.
Throughout the mix I can tell very clearly where the songs start and end, and in a good mix you shouldn't really be able to tell.

You really need to work on your beatmatching, as you're way off in some parts.

Also, I guess if you're just doing this for your gf the energy of the mix doesn't really matter as much, but I would suggest maybe choosing your songs in order of energy kind of? I can't really explain well how I do this but I pretty much order the songs in my mix like so: intro, starters, builders, slammers, comedowns. You should be able to tell whether a song belongs in "starters" or "slammers", so if you order the songs that way, you can get the audience amped up to the climax and surfing that wave for a bit before you bring it down in one clean motion instead of going back and forth you know?

And while we're on the subject, I'd suggest mixing in songs before the first song ends; like I'm listening to your mix and there's a really good vibe going, good energy, then it cuts to the 1:00 or so of beats at the back of the song, and if you start a new song after that point, because of the beats in front of the new song, it's going to take a bit of time for the song to get going and you'll lose all the energy you built up...am I making any sense here? So I guess what I'm trying to say here is start your songs a bit earlier and time it so that they go from one song to the other seamlessly.

I like some of your loops though, especially the digital love one its really smooth.

in case you didn't notice, i'm a huge Deadmau5 fan, so of course i'm going to love his stuff. that said, it's not like i EVER said it was the best or anything remotely along those lines, so i don't see why you felt it necessary to include that there "are waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better EDM LPs this year"... first of all, it's all personal opinion, but furthermore, why the fuck are you taking the tone of basically trying to prove me wrong? i think Boyz Noize is the shit- i saw him the past summer and loved his set.
