i would help but i dont know... just super commit to the wall and dont pop out, bcuz thne you land inside the pipe flats just ride the wall really fast and ride out .... im not sure if im right so dont get amd if im wrong
I saw soem guy at Tremblant on the Larose pro model (i assume it was one of the phils sicne i don't think the dyna. pro models were out during christmas) tell some yeti looking kid how to hit the pipe. he told the guy to carve up the liens of the pipe goign at a faster than uncomfrotable speed. Carve up the wall and then pop out with your legs at the top. (all thsi with a crazy french accent). This yeti proceeded to do exactly this
faield to pop at the top, launched 10 feet out of the pipe and landed on the top of the wall, double released and bounced 3 feet int othe air and then fell the 18 more feet to the deck. Looked painful. He got up put his skis back bombed down the rest of the peipe and proceeded to do the same thing on the last hit of the pipe. Funny shit. Seemed liek good advice though.
I go to the US on a ski trip and meet this american girl. She asks, 'where are you from?'. I answer, 'Ottawa, Canada'. 'Where's Ottawa', she replies. Oh man ...americans...
Here is the key...you need to straightline above the pipe and carry taht speed as you drop into the pipe. Don'te just stand at the edge and drop. It will feel like you are going way too fast, but the walls will slow you down. About the time when the tips of your skis are leaving the wall, pop with your legs and raise your arms and upper body up with them. If the wall is built right and you did everything right you should be about ten feet in the air. Now figure out how to land on the transition. That's where I tend to have problems.

What's on the other side of that wall?
-'Death.' (Johnny D. after Kristi fell off the back of the PBP wall in 1242)
'I'm in his nigger crew' (my little brother in response to my statement that he was in my 'digger crew')
'My knee hurts' (Jeff Merat after grinding a lunch table for an hour instead of sitting in the ski patrol shack for his torm mcl and acl which he got earlier that day.)
'I'm not asking for any help, just mabe for you to get off your ass.'(my dad)
first of all, hit the pipe before you hit the pipe, if ya know what i mean...if you don't then fuck off. but anyway, riding pipe is all about carving and carrying yer speed. also, when you pop, don't do a real pop, let your feet come outta the pipe then pop off yer tails. thats what i do and it works wuite well. but seriously, blazing will increase aplitude, and definately style...

so let the losers lose and let the players play/ the only difference is the dates of some dust on the clay, what
Pipe is one of those things that just takes a lot of practise. A few people said it already, but a key thing is to take slightly more speed than you are comfortable with, just keep doing this, once you feel comfortable then take a little more speed and so on. It is kind of hard to tell what angle to hit it at, but this all comes with time. Also, popping at the right time is key. You should pop right at the top of the vert, this way you are going as straight up and therefore straight down as possible, allowing for a landing in the right place.
Some things you should not do is pole plant, and try not to alley oop your unatural side. Learn to ride both walls of the pipe first.
no really, serously spend 1 whole day just riding pipe, try to get used to riding the pump your transition to keep speed up and get used to hitting the wall faster and faster, be super agressive and keep your balanced centerd, don;t end up in the back seat. I was told to fatten your edge's while riding up the wall to keep speed up, but really just get out there and just try to air all day. no grabs or spins, just concetrate on getting out of the pipe. If you spend a whole day, by the end you'll be getting out for sure. You can pratcie some one hitters too with alot of speed.

When your going scary fast into the wall, make sure you actually keep it going up the wall.
Don't be the person that comes charging into the pipe from 200 feet above, and then scrubs off all their speed right as they hit tranny. I was watching way too much of that today...
and commit. as long as ur not completely flat on the deck youll just ride back in. dont worry. pipe dont hurt that bad at all.

what happens to most ppl in pipe is that they let the wall collapse them, the key is to stay solid and dont like the wall take your speed away, in a way it is like fighting the wall, if you notice ppl that suck, they will go into the wall allstraight, and the pressure of the wall will send them into gorilla steeze and wont air at all
